Senior Citizen Outreach

No matter your age, Rio Rancho Public Schools wants everyone in our community to play a role in our district. That's one of the many reasons we work to ensure senior members of our community are informed about the latest news and events from our school district. Our focus is on residents of Rio Rancho's senior housing facilities and members of local senior centers.

As part of our outreach, we produce a monthly print publication called The Senior Side.  We also manage the Senior Gold Card Program for athletic event entry and coordinate caroling performed by our students who visit senior centers during the holiday season. In addition, Rio Rancho Public Schools works with teachers and students from different elementary schools to craft holiday cards which we distribute each holiday season to senior centers throughout the community.
