5th Grade Elementary Orchestra Programs

RRPS is proud to be one of the only school districts in New Mexico to offer band and orchestra at the elementary level, and it’s an opportunity you shouldn’t pass up! Your student will learn to play an instrument, make new friends, learn to work with others, and get a head start to hit the ground running in their middle school band and orchestra programs!
Orchestra Registration Link and Payment
Orchestra is only available to 5th grade students.
If your child has completed the instrument selection process with their orchestra director, then it's time to register them for the program and pay the one-time, non-refundable fee.
If your child plays violin, viola, or cello, make sure to register them for ORCHESTRA.
The registration widow will be open on Friday, August 30th.
There is an $80 fee for all students that covers a book, supplies, and clinician costs. This fee is non-refundable.
District-owned instrument rentals are available for families who have significant financial need. If your family falls into this category, you may apply for a district instrument at the bottom of the registration form, and you must do this no later than September 4th, 2024. Please do not request a district-owned instrument if this does not apply to your family.
The registration window closes at midnight on September 12th, 2024. If your child is not registered and fees are not paid by that time, your child will not be allowed to participate in the program this year.
