We are excited to share that the Puesta Del Sol Preschool lottery is now open!
The preschool facility at Puesta del Sol is a brand-new pre-k program within Rio Rancho Public Schools, and will officially begin operations at the beginning the 2026-2027 school year. It is open to all, and we encourage families who are interested to submit a lottery application as soon as possible.
Important Information:
Application Deadline:
Submit your application by May 31, 2026 to be included in the first lottery round.
Please note: the lottery is a random drawing and is not first-come, first-served. All applications submitted by the deadline have an equal opportunity for selection.
Eligibility Requirement:
Children must be 4 years old before September 1, 2026.
Program Schedule:
Full-day classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Meals Provided:
Healthy breakfast and lunch are provided daily for all students.
