Welcome Volunteers!

We are excited to partner with you as we ignite student potential in every one of our students! You will receive an email confirming your application once your application is received. Another email will notify you when your background check is complete. Volunteers who have cleared the background check and received approval may be utilized at any RRPS school at the discretion of the principal. Cleared volunteers may sign in with front office staff or use the volunteer kiosk; a volunteer ID sticker will be printed for daily use. Your background screening is valid for 2 years from the date of application.

The cost of the background search is $15 and is paid to the vendor performing the search. Payment is made via credit card and is part of the application process.

Please be aware that the background search verifies the demographic data entered on your application against the New Mexico State database. The information you enter on the application should match your State-issued driver's license or ID.
(
Note: If you’ve updated your address information with the State, but have not obtained a new license or ID to reflect the change, enter the information that is on file with the State.)

Please be advised: If an incorrect social security number is entered, the volunteer application will not be approved and the process will have to be completed again,
including payment of the background check
.
