Empty classroom with desksAs part of the state's efforts to contain the COVID-19 virus, public K-12 schools throughout New Mexico have been ordered to close for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.  Students will be required to learn at home to complete academic requirements and we will be providing additional information to parents in the first week of April.

NM Public Education Department: FAQ on Extended School Closure
This provides some of the guidance we have received from the state regarding school closures.  We will be sharing information with parents on specific plans and requirements for RRPS during the week of March 29-April 3.    
 

RESOURCE HOTLINE: Those who need to be connected to resources (food, baby formula, medical care, behavioral health services, etc.) may call the Rio Rancho Public Schools District Office hotline: (505) 896-0667 (Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.) Our team will do what we can to connect you to resources and/or put out a call for assistance for you on our social media and with our partners. We understand that these can be stressful times and we would like to do what we can to assist and relieve stress by providing resources or connecting parents and staff to resources should they need them.
