Is your senior struggling with online schoolwork?  The transition from a traditional classroom to learning from home can be a real challenge for some kids.  This new FREE service from the New Mexico Public Education Department and the Graduation Alliance provides students with an academic coach to help them answer questions and finish the school year strong!

NM Public Education Department: FAQ on Extended School Closure

This provides some of the guidance we have received from the state regarding school closures. 
 

RESOURCE HOTLINE: Those who need to be connected to resources (food, baby formula, medical care, behavioral health services, etc.) may call the Rio Rancho Public Schools District Office hotline: (505) 896-0667 (Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.) Our team will do what we can to connect you to resources and/or put out a call for assistance for you on our social media and with our partners. We understand that these can be stressful times and we would like to do what we can to assist and relieve stress by providing resources or connecting parents and staff to resources should they need them.

The State of New Mexico has provided hotline numbers to answer New Mexicans' questions:
  • Health-related questions, reporting, etc:  1-855-600-3453
  • All other questions (businesses, schools, unemployment, child care, etc.):  1-833-551-0518
  • What can I do while the stay-at-home order is in place? The state has provided answers to stay-at-home frequently-asked questions here!
