Read to Ride

The Sandoval Masonic Lodge has donated 2 bikes to each of the Rio Rancho Public School libraries to encourage reading during the months of February and March. Students fill out a reading slip with their name, the title of the book and a sentence or two about the book - what they liked about the book, and to whom they would recommend the book. Kindergarteners through second graders read picture books. Third graders through fifth graders read chapter books of 100 pages or more.

The week before spring break, a drawing will be held with two students names being drawn, one for K-2nd and one for 3rd - 5th. The winners will get to take their bikes home for Spring Break!
