Welcome to our New Writer's Showcase!

This page is devoted to publishing students' writing across all grades (K-12).  This is a new project spear-headed by two wonderful teachers, Beth Cramer (MVMS) and Andrea Perrino (RRMH).

Our intent is to showcase pieces of student writing in any stage of development, from brainstorming to final draft, which demonstrate the development of writing skills. Our second goal is to provide educators, parents, and students a way to read student writing that fits a particular genre or style. Students accessing this site can view examples of what others have done and develop their writing skills accordingly.

We want to emphasize that we encourage the submission of any type of written work from students provided students follow the required submission requirements.  A link to the form is available on this site for students and teachers to complete, sign, and submit for publication. 

The Writers' Showcase will not edit submissions. In order to protect the identity of our students, The Writers' Showcase will not publish writing containing the following identify information:

• Student name
• School name
• Teacher name
• Classmate(s) name(s)

Student work will remain anonymous, published with title of work, grade level of author, and student initials. Please adhere to guidelines for acceptable student behavior in your written work. Please see the box to the right for the submission form.
