Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Discussion Group in Rio Rancho: 

The group is run BY grandparents FOR grandparents, offering support, friendship and discussion of issues that are significant to us.  Free childcare is provided on site. 

Please join us on Saturday, October 20th and November 17th from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in the meeting room at Community of Joy Lutheran Church, 841 Saratoga Dr., NE., off Northern Blvd.  The group is not affiliated with any religion or church organization.  It is sponsored by Outcomes, Inc., a non-profit organization located in Albuquerque. Grandparent University:

Grandparents come together one Saturday afternoon per month to listen to and ask questions of experts in the community who will be discussing pertinent topics such as addiction, ADHD, attachment issues, political advocacy, legal issues and resources, etc. 

The next Grandparent U is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Outcomes, Inc., 1503 University Blvd. NE in Albuquerque.  The topic is Attachment Disorder presented by Christopher Alexander, Ph.D.  Call Sheila Genoni at 243-2551, ext. 109 for further information and to make reservations for childcare.
