Start/End Times for our Schools (Bell Schedule)

  • Shining Stars Preschool (M, T, Th, F):
    • Morning Session: 8:15am-11:10am (No classes on Wednesdays)
    • Afternoon Session: 12:10pm-3:05pm (No classes on Wednesdays)
  • Elementary Schools:
    • Colinas del Norte: 8:50am-3:05pm (NO EARLY DISMISSAL on Wednesdays!)
    • Puesta del Sol and Martin Luther King, Jr.: 8:15am-3:05 pm (Wednesday dismissal is at 12:30pm)
    • ALL OTHER ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: 9:00am-3:50pm (Wednesday dismissal is at 1:05pm)
  • Middle Schools: 8:15am-3:05pm
  • Rio Rancho Mid High: 7:30am-2:22pm
  • Rio Rancho High: 7:30am-2:25pm
  • Independence High: (Temporary until move to RR City Hall):
    • Monday through Thursday: 1:00pm-5:00pm
    • Friday Tutoring: 8:00am-12:00pm
    • Once the move to the new facility is completed, students will attend school during regular school hours, 7:50 AM to 2:15 PM, for the rest of the school year.
  • Rio Rancho Cyber Academy (Temporary until IHS move completed): Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-11:30am
