Start/End Times for our Schools (NEW Bell Schedule)
Students at most Rio Rancho schools will find they have to set the alarm a little earlier in the morning, or will get out of school a bit later, during the 2008-09 school year. The district will adjust start and end times to the school day in order to address concerns with bus schedules and to provide collaborative planning time for teachers.
As RRPS has grown, on-time school bus pick-up and delivery has become an increasing challenge. Over the past several months, the school district, with input from a consultant, has been studying options to remedy this situation. Our primary and uncompromising goal is to ensure the safe, on-time delivery of children to and from school. Read the complete story here.... (Lea la historia completa aquí en español....) BUS NEWS!
- Easily find which school your child will attend using our NEW SERVICE!
- We are pleased to inform you that Rio Rancho Public Schools has automated the bus routing and notification process for our students:
BUS ROUTING ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE MADE BASED ON THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE PROVIDED AT THE STUDENT REGISTRATION.
A POSTCARD INDICATING YOUR CHILD/REN’S ROUTE NUMBER AND BUS PICK-UP TIME WILL BE SENT TO YOUR MAILING ADDRESS APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.
WE BELIEVE THAT THIS NEW PROCESS WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A MORE RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT BUS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE FOR YOUR CHILDREN.
