Meet Our Head Coach
Coach Stacy Salinas

Coach Stacy Salinas has been teaching in the Rio Rancho District for twelve years, and just completed her sixth season with the Rams this year. Coach Salinas swam in New Mexico for thirteen years with Duke City Aquatics, Manzano High School, and New Mexico State University.
Coach Salinas coached for five years as varsity swim coach at Albuquerque High School. Since taking over the swim team in 2003, Coach Salinas has steered the program to their greatest levels of success at the New Mexico State Swimming and Diving competitions. Upon taking over the reigns, she initiated the Rams Diving Team, witnessing the team's first state championship in the very first year of the program.
Coach Salinas graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in secondary education and is currently working on her MBA through the University of Phoenix. Married to her husband for 13 years, Fernando, they have three girls, Amy (12), Marissa (10) and Haley (7) that keeps them more then busy. Coach Salinas spends her days as the Activities Director at Rio Rancho Mid-High.
RRHS Boy's Place 5th, Girl's 11th at 2008 NM State Swimming & Diving Championships!

The 2008 Rio Rancho High School Men's Swim squad earned a fifth place team finish at the State Swimming and Diving Championships. Senior Mark Gray placed second in the Diving Championships as well as top finishes by sophomore Jake Pyeatt and freshman Tim Zoltowsky. The Women's Swim squad earned a 11th place team finish at the State Swimming and Diving Championships. Junior Alex Fenton placed 2nd in the 200 Individual medley and 3rd inthe 100 meter freestyle, marking the highest finish in RRHS history for a female swimmer!
