Meet Our Head Coach
Coach Nicholas Morris

Coach Nicholas Morris is entering his second season as head girl's tennis coach. l After a successful debut as the women's tennis program head coach in 2006, Coach Morris has the "Rams" sights on a state tournament appearance in 2008! A former varsity assistant and JV tennis coach at Sandia Prep High School, Coach Morris volunteered his time to work with Coach Gordon Douglas and the Rio Rancho High Men's Team during 2005-06.
A tennis instructor for 22 years, Coach Morris has coached at various levels, as well as employed as a club manager and tennis instructor in Florida. He is currently the tennis director at Bishop's Lodge in Sants Fe, NM.
Coach Morris graduated from Seaford High School in Seaford, New York and attended New Mexico Highlands University as well as Nassau Community College in Uniondale, New York. In 1989, he earned his USPTR Tennis Certification at Dennis Van DeMeer's Hilton Head in South Carolina.
Beginning in 1984, Coach Morris worked for a five year period as a tennis professional at Tequesta Park, Florida. In 1989, he became the head tennis professional and club manager, and served in that position until 1998. Additionally, Coach Morris has worked as a tennis professional at Admiral's Cove in Jupiter, Florida.
