Meet Our Head Coach

Coach John Shepard

Coach John Shepard is never far from a soccer field.  Playing for Los Alamos High School and earning a state championship in 1986, Coach Shepard's illustrious soccer career also includes playing as a four year starter for Rice University, and two short stints for a variety of semi-pro teams as well.

Coach Shepard's coaching career contains six years as the head men's coach and six years as a women's club coach in Houston in addition to supervising summer soccer camps in the Houston area for some five years.

Coach Shepard has been with the Ram Soccer program since it's inception in 1997, working for two years as a C-team coach, three years as the Ram JV coach, and four years as the head men's coach.  He has worked with a variety of club teams and camps throughout the state of New Mexico.
