Congratulations Marching Band!!!

The band won First Place in the New Mexico Pageant of Bands in class 5A on October 10th at Wilson Stadium.  The band also won awards for Best Drum Majors, Best Color Guard and Best Percussion.  Way to go!!!

The awards kept coming at the Zia Marching Fiesta on Oct. 17th.  The band placed second in class 4A and advanced to the finals, taking 3rd place in the state and 4th overall.  Great job!!!

November 20 - District VI Honor Band @ RRHS

December 5 - Rio Rancho Holiday Parade - time TBA

December 10 - Holiday Band Concert @ RRHS - 7:00 p.m.

(Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz Bands I & II)

December 12 - Rio Rancho Winterfest Parade - stepping off at 5:15 p.m.

Student Fundraising Accounts & Transfers

Students wishing to use funds from their accounts for band fees, trip fees, etc. should fill out a "Request for Transfer" slip, have a parent sign it and drop it in the safe. Jane Murray, Boosters Treasurer, processes the transfers. Those needing to know how much is in their account should contact Mrs. Murray - see contact info at the bottom of this page.
