RRMS Health Office
Rio Rancho Middle School Health Office is staffed with a fulltime Registered Nurse and Health Assistant. Marlene Nankin, RN is the School Nurse, and Kristy Lindsey is the Health Assistant. The Health Office phone number is 891-5335 x260.
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS:
New Mexico Immunization law requires incoming 7th AND 8th graders to show proof of their Tdap immunization. If it has been more than 5 years since their last tetanus containing immunization, they will be required to get another immunization in order to register and receive their schedule.
There are free immunization clinics on Thursdays from 9:00 to 11 am and 1:30-3:30pm at Sandoval County Health Department . First come first served, must have shot records with students & parent required to be present. Sandoval County Health Department is located at 1500 Idalia Rd., Rio Rancho For more information please call them at 505-867-2291.
NEW MEXICO DRUG CARD
There is a new prescription card that is free to anyone in New Mexico whether you have medical insurance or not. To find out more information, and to print your card go to www.nmdrugcard.com . We can also print this card for you from our office if needed.

Please make sure the school has accurate phone numbers so we can reach you if your child is ill. Please remember to send in new work numbers if you change jobs.
To ensure optimum care, it is important to update us continually with changes in your child’s health, new medications, or anything else that impacts his or her well-being at school. You are encouraged to share any concerns or problems relevant to your child's health.

Got a minute? That's all it takes to do exercises at your desk while at work or doing homework. ALL of us can benefit by doing these quick exercises five times a day.
