Activities are fun at ERMS

Besides the activities of a normal middle school, Eagle Ridge has a wide variety of events that includes clubs, assemblies, school musicals, yearbook and drama. We also have a very active school government, which sponsors events such as dances and fund raisers that help out all that live in Rio Rancho.

A wide variety of extra curricular clubs and activities are available for students in all grades. Have your child listen to the announcements or speak to the advisor to determine exact meeting dates and times.

Hope everyone had an active and fun summer? We are excited about the upcoming school year. Many fun and exciting challenges are in front of us.

FALL SPORTS : SIGN-UP WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEK OF AUGUST 26. SIGN UP WITH COACH SPENCER; DURING YOUR P.E. CLASS OR BEFORE SCHOOL, DURING LUNCH AND AFTER SCHOOL. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE GYM DURING YOUR REGULAR CLASS TIME. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL ON FILE IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE WITH COACH SPENCER.

Incoming 7th graders are automatically eligible for participation during the 1st quarter. For subsequent eligibility students must have a 2.0 Grade Point Average and not receive more than one, "F" . 8th grade eligibility will be based on students' 4th quarter grades during the 2009-10 school year-2.0 GPA and not failed more than one class.
