2009-2010 School Year Calendar:  RRPS District Calendar

Mark your calendar for the upcoming SBA testing window:  March 22 - April 23, 2010

The New Mexico Standards Based Assessment (NMSBA) will be administered to all students in grades 3 through 5 between March 22 - April 23, 2010.  Please do not schedule medical, dental, or other appointments for students during school hours on these days.  Also, please make sure your children:

• are not absent or tardy unless absolutely necessary
• get a good night's sleep
• eat a healthy breakfast
• arrive on time to school
• do their best

RRPS H1N1 Flu Shot Clinics

RRPS is now offering H1N1 immunizations to all students at our schools! The H1N1 flu shot clinic was held at MCE on January 21st.  If you have children at another RRPS school, please visit that school's website for dates of any flu shot clinics there.

Student Absences

If your child will not be attending school, please remember to call the office, by 9 am. Leave the child's name, teacher and the reason for the absence.  The attendance line is 994-0229 ext 1.

 

Keeping the Student Information system and contact information updated is very important!

 

Green Efforts at Our School

• Green Team collects paper, cardboard, cans and water bottles from the school, led by Mrs. Owen.  Click the recycle logo to readmore about Green Team!
• Recycle ink, toner, and/or cell phones by dropping them off in the designated box outside the main office.
• Plastic shopping bags will continue to be collected in in the designated box outside the main office but are no longer a fundraiser for our school.  Please recycle at home.
