Our School was named in honor of Margarita Moreno Cordova, the first Executive Director of Special Services for Rio Rancho Public Schools. Maggie passed away in 2005 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Keeping Maggie's philosophy of neighborhood schools, Cordova Elementary strives to keep her vision and dreams a reality.

The school currently serves over 975 students. The facility is an award-winning building and the staff is exemplary. Our school is a PLC (Professional Learning Community). We believe in setting educational goals that the community, parents, children, and school staff can work on achieving together. Come volunteer and make a difference!
