Attention MLK Families

Native American Heritage Month at MLK

 

We are excited to have Tyra Preston, a renowned Southwest 5th generation Navajo textile weaving artist to a hands on presentation on Wednesday, November 18th from 6:30-7:30.  Come learn about the Navajo culture.  Tyra will have many displays, weavings, and food for students and parent to explore together.  Do not miss this wonderful cultural opportunity. 

 

RRPS Partnering with Parents

 

RRPS is offering workshops for parents.  The first workshop is: English as a Foreign Language and is being taught by Greg Griffith, a community volunteer.  To register for the workshop, go to ww.rrps.net and then mouse over to the Professional Development button on the menu bar.  Then, click on Online Courseware Catalog, find the Partnering with Parents link, and follow the directions.

 

Help Support our Troops

We will be joining forces with Charter Bank and Blue Star Mothers to collect items to send to our troops this holiday season. We are accepting donations until November 15th.  Click here for a list of suggested donations. 

 

Family Math Game Night
