Testing, Here We Come!
EHE students in grades 3-5 will be taking the SBA test in just a few weeks. During this time period, we ask that families make appointments after school to avoid students missing testing.

 Pennies for Patients
Throughout the month of March, EHE staff and students will be collecting spare change and other donations to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients program.

Mark Your Calendars-PTA News!
Cookie dough orders will be available for pick up in the EHE multi-purpose room from 3:00-6:00pm on March 11.
On April 9, EHE families are welcome to join us for a free family movie night!

 Soles 4 Souls
RRPS is collecting used shoes for the people of Haiti. The RRPS District Office has a 'Soles for Souls' box. All collected shoes will be sent to Haiti in the near future.

2010-2011 School Supply Drive
Please consider donating packed backpacks of supplies to students whose parents have requested assistance. Please indicate on the backpack the grade for which it is intended. Please contact Judy Reynolds, the counselor, if you have additional questions.
The 2010-2011 school supply lists will be posted by the end of May 2010. Backpacks will be distributed to students on the first day of school in August.

 Field Trip Chaperones and Volunteers
All EHE field trip chaperones and volunteers are required by district policy to fill out a volunteer form. This notarized form must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the volunteer work taking place. We have a Notary Public in the office for your convenience. Thank you for your understanding!

 Inclement Weather
When the weather is poor, the RRPS Website and our local news channels will have the most current information regarding school closures and delays. EHE's abbreviated schedule is 11:00am-4:00pm, even on Wednesdays. If severe weather conditions materialize during the school day, an early dismissal will be announced by approximately 11:30 am via web, radio and TV.

The library is collecting Box Tops! This ongoing fundraiser provides resources to purchase books for our library. To learn more, visit EHE's Library Page. |

 Cell Phone and Ink/Toner Cartridge Recycling
EHE earns money for used cell phones, toner & ink cartridges, IPods & MP3 players, hand held gaming devices, digital cameras and digital video cameras.
Funds raised have already helped purchase various technology products for our classrooms! Please drop off your donations in the blue labeled tub in the EHE foyer next to the library windows.

Krispy Kreme Cards
Krispy Kreme doughnut cards are for sale in the office. The cost per card is $12.00.
One card entitles customers to a free dozen original glazed doughnuts with the purchase of any dozen. Each card is valid for ten free dozen doughnuts.
