Welcome to the Art Studio!

The art teacher is Mrs. Lewis.  Her location is in Room 39.

All students in grades K-5 go to the art studio on their rotation day for 40 minutes.

 

I would like to encourage you to visit the International Folk Art Museum in Santa Fe.  Many of the students learned about folk art this year for example, Helen Cordero from Cochiti Pueblo was the first person to make a storyteller doll and it can be seen at the museum.  See what programs are available. Go to www.moifa.org  to see the schedule.  Also, try www.internationalfolkart.org.

Our Rio Rancho Schools will display artwork made by our students at the New Mexico State Fair in September.  Be sure to go see the huge room full of artwork from all around the state.
