We are pleased to present to the community one of Rio Rancho's newest schools, Cielo Azul ( which means "Blue Sky" ). Cielo Azul rests at the corner of King Blvd. and Wilpett Road in the Northwest area of Rio Rancho, NM. The name "Blue Sky" clearly represents what we'll see over our school every day! We are so proud of our beautiful, new building, where ravens will...SOAR!

New Student Information System!!!

Rio Rancho Public Schools will be using a new student information system, PowerSchool, starting this fall.

PowerSchool is a web-based system that will contain all of our student information including attendance, scheduling, grading, emergency information, parent/guardian information and health records. 

ParentConnect will be discontinued as of 6/9/2009.  Parents of middle and high schools will receive more information regarding the implementation of the replacement of ParentConnect by late Fall 2009.  

We are excited to launch this new system and ask for your patience while we make all the necessary adjustments!

Summer Library at Cielo Azul!

How to Stay Involved at Cielo Azul Elementary:

 

Join the PTO!

We are requesting parents to be involved in creating the PTO (parent/teacher organization) at Cielo Azul.  Please watch for information in the Raven Reporter regarding PTO meetings and events.

PTO meetings will be held the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. So please come and see what we have planned for the school year and share your ideas with us.
