Thanksgiving Celebration

School Holiday Dinner

    On November 24th, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving break we will have a classroom lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving.  We will provide the main course and drink, but we need parents to help with sides.  We would like each student to share their favorite thanksgiving side or treat with their class.  If this is not possible we will also need paper plates, napkins, cups, and silverware.  We are inviting all parents to attend if available and bring their sides with them or if you are not available send it with your child in the morning.  We will send invitations. Please respond if you will be coming so we know how much we will need. Also return the rsvp with what you will be bringing by Nov. 13th.  The lunch will be at 11:30 in the classroom.  Please make sure you sign in at the office first.  The children will also sing a few thanksgiving songs to share with parents.   

The school’s holiday dinner will be on November 17th at our lunch time: 12:45.  Please feel free to join your child at lunch for a real holiday meal with all the trimmings.

We will need parent volunteers to help set up the classroom for the celebration and to help clean up after the celebration.  We will need help beginning at 11:00 to set up classroom and after the celebration with clean
