Spelling Words
Report Cards
We will begin spelling words March 1st. We will have six spelling words a week that the children will be responsible to study. We will practice the words in class, but please study them at home too. We will have a test on Friday. A notebook of word family words will be sent home each day with weekly words. The children are so excited to learn new words!
The first two weeks in March we will be testing students on all they have learned this year in order to assess for our report cards. You can help your child do well by practicing reading with your child and reviewing addition, subtraction, coins, and time on the analog clock to the hour. Thanks!

St. Patrick’s Day
On March 2nd we will complete activities to celebrate Read Across America Day. Ask your child how we celebrated.
On March 12th, before Spring Break, we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Ask your child about all we learned.
Important Information!
Things for the classroom that we need: (Donations are not required but appreciated)
glue sticks, prizes for prize box, boxes of tissues, child size scissors, disinfectant wipes.
I wanted to send you our weekly special class schedule so you can let your child know and your child can be prepared with the correct attire if necessary.
