We will still be having discoveries in many areas, here is what we are working on now!!

  • Math: Keeping our multiplication mastered!   Mr. VonOsten will keep you posted...watch for Agendas and Data Binders for new information!  Check over your child's homework and ask for a Student Reference Book if you are confused!  It happens!! :)
  • Science: finishing up Astronomy and Earth Science, moving on to Survival and then Healthy Bodies!!
  • Social Studies: We are finishing up the Midwest Region study and about to get our Midwestern states for State Lunch Bags!  Next stop: The West!!
  • Literacy: Spelling lists come home on Mondays in their agenda; We are continuing our study on the 6 Traits of Writing and the Elements of Narrative Writing. The students have finished their first Individual Readers and book reports and are diving into their second.  We are also still following the basal reading curriculum that gives a variety of reading experiences as well!! Keep up that reading at home.  Scholastic News is a great place to start!!  Read AR books for points our goal before Spring Break is 20 points!!
