I cannot believe that we are in the second half of the year! Time sure is flying by!
Here's is what we are doing in class:

Class Activities or News:
Toys and stuffed animals are not allowed at school. They distract the students and take away from instruction. I will take them and keep them until May if they come to school!
We are running low on paper towels, pencils and notebook paper! I will always accept donations!

Homework:
Homework is due either Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
Reading log: students should be reading every night for a minimum of 30 minutes. On the log, they are expected to write a 3-5 sentence summary about what they have read. These are due on Monday!
Spelling: Spelling homework is assigned every Monday and is due every Friday. Students will complete the workbook pages for the lesson we are working on, as well as complete 3 activities of their choice.
Math: Math homework is assigned on a nightly basis. The pages that are assigned correspond and support what your student learned during class. Math homework is due either Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
