About the Class

Computer Repair is a series of two classes offered at Rio Rancho High School Engineering and Design Academy designed to help students learn to maintain, upgrade, and fix personal computers running Microsoft Windows. Additionally, the courses prepare students for the tests required to become licensed PC technicians!

About the License

Through RRHS, students have the opportunity to purchase discounted test vouchers, take the two certifcation tests and become industry recognized PC technicians! The "CompTIA A+" license is a vendor neutral, industry recognized certification which validates a person has the skills and knowledge to upgrade, maintain, and repair PCs running Microsoft Windows. It is an entry level certification and applies toward other licenses.

This license, and many others, is regulated by an organization called Computing Technology Industry Association, or CompTIA. Members of CompTIA come from around the globe and help to make its license internationally accepted.

RRHS is a member of the CompTIA "E2C" program and is eligible for reduced prices on test vouchers for its students.  Check out these techies!
