Participation in extracurricular activities is contingent upon an acceptable level of academic achievement. All class work counted for eligibility determination must be acceptable as graduation credit. Eligibility for participation is established by two standards:

1. the student must have passed all classes during the immediately previous grading period and shall be currently passing all classes, and

2. must have a grade point average of 2.0 or better for the immediately previous grading period or cumulatively beginning with and including the second semester of grade eight (8) or during the current semester.
