This policy is adopted to ensure that the district is able to provide an extracurricular activities program as an integral part of the educational program.

Employment under an extracurricular activity contract addenda or agreement is severable from employment for instructional duties. Not withstanding the foregoing, any cause sufficient to justify termination or discharge in one area of responsibility shall be sufficient for any area of responsibility of the employee pursuant to statute and State Board of Education regulations.

Employees who resign or terminate extracurricular activity responsibilities may be considered for reemployment exclusive of the extracurricular activity, pending the recommendation of the Superintendent and subsequent approval of the Board of Education.
