Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) includes those functions
connected directly to classroom teaching and student learning.
These include development of district standards and the
curriculum used to ensure students are able to meet those
standards, and also assuring those standards are in line
with state requirements.
C&I also supervises ongoing
teacher and staff training (professional development),
and solicitation of funds via grants from organizations
and private industry.
Mr. Leppelman also oversees the
departments of Special Services, Literacy, Assessment
and Testing, and the After-School and Volunteer Programs.
