Welcome to ParentConnect!

NOTICE(S):

  1. Please do not register for ParentConnect or request additions to your ParentConnect account for students in their school for next year, if they are moving up to a higher school (i.e., 'mid-schooler' moving to RRMH).  ParentConnect will not associate them to next year’s school until after the summer.  Please continue to refer to this notice area for updates.

  2. Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7) displays a warning message about the ParentConnect security certificate when you attempt to log into ParentConnect. Select the Continue... option and ParentConnect will work as usual.   SSL has been ordered and should be installed soon.

  3. The following issues are still pending correction.  Hopefully we will receive upgrades containing fixes by the summer for installation prior to August 2008:
    1. Several accounts are not receiving email alerts:  PLEASE log into your account on a regular basis to check your child(ren)'s grade/assignment/etc. detail.
    2. ALL (even last semester) assignments without due dates displaying in ParentConnect, regardless of whether you select 'This Week', 'This Month', etc.

Which Schools can use ParentConnect?
»ONLY Parents/Guardians (with legal rights) of students at RRHS,RRMH, LMS, ERMS, and/or MVMS can use ParentConnect!

»ParentConnect is NOT available for Elementary, IHS, Preschool or Cyber Academy students at this time, but may become available in the future. Until electronic grade books are implemented at these schools, student data displayed would not include grade and/or assignment data…the primary purpose of the service.)

»Students are not allowed to register themselves to access this site at this time, but we encourage parents to use this as a positive communication tool with their child(ren).

How Do I Register?

1. Pre-Register for an account
MAKE SURE you have read the instructions before attempting this!
2. After pre-registering - Pick up Password
»After 5 school days, visit your child's school (7:30-3:30 on school/in-service days) with a photo ID to pick up your User ID and Password (RRHS, RRMH, LMS, ERMS, MVMS only).

»IF you have children at more than one of these schools, you can pick up your User ID and Password at any one of these schools for all of them.
3. Login, Change Password and start using ParentConnect
ONLY IF you have Pre-Registered AND picked up your ID/Password, LOGIN to ParentConnect, and don't forget to change your password (see instructions).

I’m locked out!
There is NO need to contact anyone about this problem. As a security measure, if you have three failed attempts at inputting your user name and password the system will lock your account and will automatically reset itself within 1 hour. This protects you from someone continually trying to guess your password.
I forgot my User ID and/or Password!
»Visit your child's school again (7:30-3:30 on school/in-service days) with a photo ID to pick up your User ID and Password (RRHS, RRMH, LMS, ERMS, MVMS only).

» IF you have children at more than one of these schools, you can pick up your User ID and Password at any one of these schools for all of them.
My child’s information (grades, attendance, immunizations, etc.) is wrong!

Can more than one parent/guardian have access to a child's record?
»Yes. Each parent/guardian can register individually and will receive his/her own unique login credentials.

» Parents must have legal rights to view their child's school records.
What if I do not have a computer in my home?
»You can use a computer from anywhere with Internet access to view the ParentCONNECTxp website. (i.e., the public library, your local senior center -if you are a senior citizen, Internet cafes, or any computer that has Internet access).

» For the protection of your child’s data, please remember to NEVER share your password and to close the ParentConnectxp site if you are leaving the computer even for what you think may be a ‘split second’.
I have an active ParentConnect account. Do I have to register again for the new school year?
No. Please do not re-register, even if you have a child entering into a school with the ParentConnect service for the first time (i.e., an elementary school student moving to ERMS, LMS or MVMS, in which case you click here to email us to add this student to your existing account.
If my child moves from one middle school to another, or up to the mid/high school for the new school year, do I need to do anything to update my account?
No. The application will continue to upload your child's data into your active account from the school of which they are enrolled at the time.
If I live OUT OF TOWN, can I have a ParentConnect account?
Yes. Once you have preregistered, in order to receive your userid and password, complete, notarize and return the ParentConnect Authorization form to:
