The RRHS Marching Band competed against 26 bands from California, Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Idaho! The band made it into finals and placed 8th overall. This was an amazing accomplishment considering the caliber of the bands they were up against. Their performance is based on the Cirque du Soleil, and the students were able to see a show by Cirque du Soleil during their visit! Students said it was the most amazing show they'd ever seen. We are proud of the entire Marching Band, the directors (Kurt Schmidt, Brad Dubbs, and Neil Bell), and all the parent volunteers that helped with the trip. This coming weekend the Marching Band will compete in the Zia Band competition in Albuquerque (UNM Stadium). Go RAMS!
