RRPS Curriculum and Instruction Department
Welcome to the Curriculum and Instruction Department!
Our mission is to support teachers, principals, and school staff in all instructional curricula and materials, professional and staff development, and student learning. Strong instructional leadership includes a guaranteed and viable curriculum, best practices in instruction based on classroom walkthroughs and professional learning communities, and common assessments that are frequent and analyzed.
The Elementary and Secondary education departments, along with Fine Arts, literacy and Reading Recovery, and Professional and Staff Development are housed in the District Office Annex building at 481 Rio Rancho Blvd. Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) includes functions connected directly to classroom teaching and student learning.
